With the release of Wonka, the Plugged In team thought it’d be a perfect opportunity to have a big, friendly talk about the new movie and Roald Dahl’s complicated legacy.
We talk with the creator of the stage-to-screen production of The Hiding Place and talk about a theater-themed comedy.

After seven straight victories, The Way of Water fell like Niagara, making way for the possibly-apocalyptic horror flick Knock at the Cabin.
Not many braved the weekend’s cold to visit the nation’s movie theaters. But most who did went to see James Cameron’s latest Avatar flick.
Just a few months ago, Pixar/Disney’s Lightyear was considered a massive Mouse House dud. Strange World said, “Hold my juice box.”
We talk a lot about screen time here at Plugged In. The less time your kids spend in front of a screen, the better, we often say. And it’s true.

They said they wouldn’t. But now, Disney+ has added R-rated content. And many moms and dads are still upset with the decision.
We’re all probably guilty of saying it. And who knows, we might even mean it: “Wait, I just want to check one thing.”
