The Plugged In Show, Episode 53: A New Video Game Lands … Among Us

LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 53

Move over Fortnite, there’s a new game in town. It’s called Among Us. And despite that title’s seemingly ominous vibe, well, it’s more like the board game Clue than it is a shooter like Fortnite.

Among Us invites players to solve a murder mystery in space. Interacting virtually with other participants (either strangers or friends online), players must identify a murderous “imposter” before he or she strikes again.

Cue the melodrama!

On this episode of The Plugged In Show, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about this surprising hit game. But we’ll also discuss the bigger picture: how games to continue evolve in their appeal to kids, and what parents need to know about video game trends today.

After you’ve listened to our discussion, be sure to check out the following links related to this week’s show.

  1. -Hello! My question is, would you reccomend this game to children under the age of 10? One half of the game includes digital murder of other players, so I would advocate this to anyone really. Thank you for your input.
