The Plugged In Show, Episode 54: The Chosen and the State of Streaming Christian Content

LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 54

Have you seen The Chosen?

This dramatic reenactment of the life of Christ and His followers, now streaming in its second season on various online outlets, has made “believers” of many new fans.

But that show, directed by Dallas Jenkins (whom our very own Paul Asay recently interviewed) is just one product designed with a Christian audience in mind. VidAngel (which recently settled with Disney and Warner Bros. after an expensive lawsuit) offers subscribers the ability to filter content on Netflix and Amazon Prime offerings, as well as offering original content of its own. Meanwhile, Pureflix and other outlets gather faith-focused, family friendly TV shows and movies.

This week on The Plugged In Show, we’ll be talking about all of those things and more. So if you’ve ever wondered, I wonder how I can stream Christian content, this is an episode you’ll want to listen to.
