Introducing Plugged In’s New Technology Section!

We do a lot of talking about screens here at Plugged In. We talk about what to watch on them, play on them, even read on them.

But we also talk about the screens themselves: How we use them in our culture and how we often misuse them. Screens can be prime conduits for connection or instruments of our isolation. They’re mechanisms for eye-popping creativity or dismal AI slop. Those screens can be portals to access technological wonders. But sometimes, they take us to the darkest recesses of our culture … or even our own souls.

We live in a world where science fiction is rapidly becoming reality—and that has huge implications for us, be we parents or teens, Christian or not.

We recently published our massive 2026 Parents’ Guide to Technology to help shepherd you through this bewildering world. But let’s face it: 125 pages isn’t enough to do the topic justice. And the thing about technology is that it’s always changing.

So in an effort to give you a place to access all of our technology-themed musings—be they blogs or videos, breaking news or evergreen advice—we’ve launched a new page dedicated to technology and its related issues. Artificial intelligence. Social media. Screen time. Phone use. You can find it all right here. You can also find the tab to this new section on our green navigation bar/area at the top of our homepage. Just hit “TECHNOLOGY,” and you’ll be able to read Plugged In’s newest and best stuff on the subject.

And, as always, let us know if there’s a techno topic that you’d like us to cover. Respond in the comment section below or send us an email at letters@pluggedin.com.
