The Plugged In Show, Episode 201: An Interview With ‘Digital Detox’ Author Molly DeFrank. Plus, ‘Ahsoka’

LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 201

If screentime in our families has gotten out of control, what do we do? This week on The Plugged In Show, we’ll talk with author Molly DeFrank about that timely question. She’s the author of Digital Detox: The Two-Week Tech Reset for Kids. And if you’ve ever felt like your family might need a hard reboot in this area, you’re not going to want to miss this conversation.

In our second segment, we’ll dive into the Disney+ Star Wars series Ahsoka. Paul Asay will help us think through the issues families will want to know about in this latest small-screen entry in the Star Wars franchise.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on those two segments. And we’d also love to know what entertainment and technology topics you’d like The Plugged In Show to discuss in the future. What are you interested in? Where are your family’s pain points or areas of concern?

You can let us know a couple of different ways. The comments section below is one. Or, shoot us an email at [email protected]. And if you head over to our podcast homepage, thepluggedinshow.com, you’ll find a black ribbon on the right-hand side of the page where you can leave us a voicemail with your thoughts—we might even feature your audio message on a future show. And, of course, Facebook and Instagram are options, too.

Finally, we’ve made a change to the timing of The Plugged In Show Aftercast live on Instagram each week. We’ve moved to Fridays at 4 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Each Friday, we’ll discuss that week’s podcast and give you a preview of what’s in theaters and/or streaming that weekend. And we want you to chime in with your comments, observations and questions related to those subjects each week.

So make sure to follow us on Instagram and turn on notifications to receive that reminder when we go live each Friday afternoon.

See you there!
