Episode 263: All I Want for Christmas Is What TikTok Tells Me. Plus, Kevin Sorbo

LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 263

What’re the hottest gifts this Christmas season? Just ask social media’s biggest stars, and they’ll tell you. According to Digital Voices, 73% of Gen Z shoppers are planning on getting gifts based on the opinions of online influencers—and sometimes, those gifts are made by the influencers themselves.

Now, that’s not necessarily a problem, but it is interesting. And certainly if you’re the parent of a Gen Z teen (or their younger Gen Alpha siblings), it’s an issue that might require some attention.

And while we’re on the subject of influencers, our own Adam Holz (an influential guy in his own right) sits down and talks with Kevin Sorbo, best known to the secular world as Hercules and well known in faith-based film circles as the star of many a Christian film. He and Adam talk about the entertainment industry—both secular and Christian—and discuss Sorbo’s latest project.

Oh, and hey, we’d also love to influence you to join in the conversation. Write us an email at team@thepluggedinshow.com. Leave us a voicemail on The Plugged In Show homepage. Comment on Instagram and Facebook. And, of course, you can always let us know what you think on this very blog.
