A Plugged In Conversation With Skillet’s John Cooper

Skillet has spent more than two decades pumping out hard rock delivering a two-part message: Life can be hard, but God is faithful. That theme is evident again on the band’s 10th studio album, Victorious.

Recently, Skillet’s high-energy road show rolled through the Rocky Mountains, and my son and I had a chance to go see them. Before the high decibel proceedings got underway, however, I sat down with frontman John Cooper to talk about the band’s longevity, how its members fuel their faith on the road as well as the surprisingly strong response Cooper recently had to a passionate Facebook post about the importance of truth.

Check out the interview (which, since we couldn’t take a tripod in, is a tad shaky) below, and let us know what you think.
