LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 298
We live in an age of choices. And those choices may be particularly broad in the realm of entertainment. We can choose to watch or stream just about anything these days—and so many of those choices can be, well, wildly problematic.
But we have more great choices than ever before, too. Faith-based entertainment feels like it’s stronger than ever, and a lot of that entertainment is geared toward kids.
Kristin Smith takes the wheel for this episode of The Plugged In Show. And she leads a conversation with Bob Hoose, Kennedy Unthank and me on just what sort of Bible-based entertainment we’re seeing out there these days. (And naturally, the conversation begins with Adventures in Odyssey, an audio drama that Hoose both writes and directs for.)
And then Kristin and I talk about a new, kid-centric film from Angel Studios called Sketch. You’d think that, given the production company and all, this might fit nicely with our previous segment, right? Well, if you haven’t read our review just yet, you might be surprised.
As you likely know, we’re coming to the end of the road for The Plugged In Show, but we’d still love to hear your thoughts on it—be it this episode, the show overall or what you’d like us to do in the future in our YouTube space. In fact, you can even connect with us right there, in fact. You can chat with us on Facebook or Instagram, too. Write to us at team@thepluggedinshow.com, or leave us a voice message on The Plugged In Show homepage.
Or hey, just comment down below.
By the way, next week we’ll be diving into some of the burning questions you’ve asked us the last few weeks. We’ll answer as many as we can. It should be a fun episode.
