The Plugged In Show, Episode 224: The Plugged In Movie Awards!

LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 224

Roll out the red carpet, fluff up that dress and straighten up that old bow tie: It’s time to officially conduct our always rollicking Plugged In Movie Awards.

These awards have evolved quite a bit over their history. Back in the day, the Plugged In team would bandy about the nominees ‘til the wee hours of the morning in a smoke-filled room (someone clearly burned the microwave popcorn) and then unveil our selections on this very blog.

These days, our selection process is far more transparent. We hold our debates on The Plugged In Show—so you can hear who loved what and why—with votes sometimes swayed by a member’s impassioned, inciteful arguments.

So what won? What lost? And what did you choose? You can hear them all on this episode of The Plugged In Show.

But you know what the real beauty of awards are? Talking about them afterwards. We’d love for you to tell us where we got our picks exactly right—or horrifically wrong. Let us know in the comments below. Chime in on Instagram and Facebook. Write us a letter (at [email protected]) or leave us a voicemail on our homepage. We’d really love to hear from you.

And thanks again for being a part of our little community here. We have a great team here at Plugged In, and you’re a part of it.
