The Plugged In Show, Episode 209: The Thanksgiving Movie Episode

LISTEN TO THE PLUGGED IN SHOW, EPISODE 209

It’s Thanksgiving. And that can only mean one thing–OK, maybe five things: turkey, pumpkin pie, family and Thursday NFL games. The fifth? Well, maybe a movie.

Plenty of families head to the multiplex after the turkey’s been gobbled up. So this week, we’re giving you the skinny (or, maybe not the skinny, depending on how much stuffing and mashed potatoes you ate) on five films in theaters or streaming this weekend.

Yup, we’ve corralled our trusty Plugged In team almost in its entirety to let you know what you need to know before you click “Purchase” on tickets for Wish, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Next Goal Wins, Leo and Napoleon.

So grab another piece of pumpkin pie (I promise I won’t tell), sit back and let us tell you what we thought of these five movies that someone in your family might be interested in checking out this holiday weekend.

As always, we’d love to hear from you, too, about what we talk about each week on The Plugged in Show. Are you planning on seeing any of these movies? Let us know!

To do so, you can connect with us in several different ways. The comments section below is one way. Or shoot us an email at [email protected]. And if you head over to our podcast homepage, thepluggedinshow.com, you’ll find a black ribbon on the right-hand side of the page where you can leave us a voicemail with your thoughts—we might even feature your audio message on a future show. And, of course, Facebook and Instagram are options, too.

So let us know what’s on your mind when it comes to movies and entertainment, pop culture and technology. We’ll look forward to connecting with you.
