The Bible can be sort of confusing. All right, for many of us it can be very confusing. From the Old Testament all the way to Revelation, context and perspective are necessary to grasp what on earth is going on.

And for those of us who aren’t biblical scholars, it’s nice to have some help. Enter the Bible Project.

This educational, Christian YouTube Channel was started back in 2014 by scholars Timothy Mackie and Jonathan Collins. Their goal? To present God’s Word in an engaging way. So, they did.

Now, their channel breaks down chapters of the Bible with animated, almost comic book-like line drawings. And the videos are broken down into categories such as Spiritual Beings, Biblical Themes, Luke-Acts Series, The Torah Series, The Wisdom Series, Word Studies, Old Testament and New Testament.

For those who love the Bible but would love for someone to bring a little more context, perspective and, yes, fun to the text, the Bible Project delivers.
