Plugged In Pick, Book: Pax, Journey Home

A boy and his fox. You don’t hear about many of those yarns. But I’ve got one for ya. Not only that, but it’s a bestseller through which thoughtful parents can help their younger readers connect with the biblical concepts of love, redemption and forgiveness.

This week’s Plugged In Pick is a book called: Pax, Journey Home.

The book tells a bittersweet story of things lost because of war. But it also speaks of mankind’s God-given desire to rebuild and renew; the loving joys of family and adoption; and the absolute necessity to seek out help and reach for a sense of healing connection.

Now some savvy readers will recognize that this tale is a follow-up novel to author Sara Pennypacker’s award-winning book Pax. (Those who do, have probably bought this sequel already.) But if you’re new to these titles, fear not, this one stands on its own and you won’t be bewildered and left scratching your head.

You will, however, probably find yourself yearning for more boy and his fox stories.
