Album Review

Pro-Social Content

A trio of boldly spiritual “O” songs celebrate the birth of Christ (“O Come All Ye Faithful,” “O Holy Night,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem”). Meanwhile, other seasonal standards put a nip in the air as they reflect the excitement of Christmastime (“Winter Wonderland,” “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”), or softly convey tranquility and innocence (“Silver Bells,” “The Christmas Song”). “Breath of Heaven” and “A Cradle in Bethlehem” both transport listeners back in time to that glorious night of Jesus’ birth. Terrific!

Summary Advisory

Vince Gill has won more Grammy’s than any singer in Nashville history. His smooth tenor voice injects emotion into every edifying line, making Breath of Heaven a perfect holiday collection for country music fans.
