Album Review

Pro-Social Content

The title track points to communication as a crucial step toward better understanding one another and healing society’s ills. “We Wait and We Wonder” goes even further, asking “how this happened, killing the old, the innocent, the young.” “We’re Sons of Our Fathers” addresses our declining society and questions rebellious youth (“Our sons and daughters seem to be beyond our control/their smile is fading fast/they’re losing their soul”). Other songs reflect on how past decisions have life-altering implications. He pledges his love on “There’s a Place for Us.”

Objectionable Content

“Please Come Out Tonight” asks a lover to spend the night.

Summary Advisory

A mostly solid pick from a thoughtful solo artist who seeks to uplift the human spirit.
