Pro-Social Content

“Fragile,” “Your Love,” “In Your Eyes” and the Top-10 single “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” all communicate love for a special man.

Objectionable Content

While not overly explicit, several songs turn up the heat, sexually. Minogue propositions her boyfriend (“Give It to Me”) and speaks of wanting to “wake up with you” (on the hidden track, “Butterfly”). “More More More” expresses an insatiable desire for a guy (“Feeling it burning just for you . . . Make me sigh with sheer delight”). Looking for help from her “love doctor,” the singer asks, “So now shall I remove my clothes?” Another track buys into the dubious romantic notion of “Love at First Sight.”

Summary Advisory

This Award-winning Aussie’s dance tunes are built around a disco backbeat and frosted with pop and techno stylings. Minogue fancies herself a saucy Madonna type, which is reflected in sensual liner photos and a pared-back erotica. This Fever isn’t life-threatening, but there’s no need to expose teens when CCM artists V*enna, ZoeGirl and Whisper Loud provide healthier options.
