Throughout “My Gift to You,” lead singer Jonathan Davis fantasizes–in graphic detail–about choking his girlfriend to death while having sex with her. He contemplates suicide on “B.b.k.” “All in the Family” describes a sick clan that practices deviant erotica together. Lines such as “Generation Triple X, we’re all about the weed smoke and the kinky sex/. . . F— authority!” fill a psychotic anthem featuring rapper Ice Cube (“Children of the Korn”). Four songs convey self-loathing and despair, including “Got the Life” (“God thanks me . . . Each day I feel so hollow inside”). The malicious vocalist also imagines killing his parents on “Dead Bodies Everywhere.”
Even Entertainment Weekly called this obscenity-ridden disc “incredibly perverse.” Protect your kids. Impeach this Leader.
