Pro-Social Content

It’s the rare love song not consumed with sex, but “U Still Got It” finds a man reassuring his pregnant wife that a little weight gain won’t dim his love for her. On “Love Changes” (a tender duet with Mary J. Blige), Foxx longs for more “sharing, caring and understanding.” “Wish U Were Here” is a personal tribute to the artist’s late grandmother.

Objectionable Content

Alcohol flows on several tracks (“With You,” “Extravaganza,” “VIP”). At a club, Foxx invites another man’s date to join him for sex in the bathroom, then brags of having a gun should her guy interrupt (“DJ Play a Love Song”). Songs include f-words, the s-word, racial and anatomical slang and, in the case of “Extravaganza,” a demand that a woman supply birth control. “Get This Money” puts a stripper on a pedestal. Guest rapper The Game talks about making love on a beach (“With You”). Unusual sexual positions and videotaped intimacy are a couple of ways Foxx shows that he’s “Unpredictable.” “Three Letter Word” is an ode to—you guessed it—sex.

Summary Advisory

Last year he won an Academy Award for his brilliant portrayal of Ray Charles. But Jamie Foxx’s sexually obsessed musical debut (a disc featuring appearances by Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Twista, Ludacris and others) will have wise parents saying, “Hit the road, Jack.”
