Objectionable Content

The disc begins with the statement, “The following previews have been approved for all audiences by the committee for audio-visual sound.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Obscenities, explicit sex and references to gangsta violence abound. Brown describes a lifestyle of drugs, guns and cop-killing on “(Holy Matrimony) Letter to the Firm.” The vengeful “Intro” ends with a gunshot. Violence is also glamorized on “The Chase,” “The Promise” and “Interlude . . . The Set Up.” “No One’s” applauds high stakes gambling and smoking marijuana. Sexual bragging using raw language (“Fox Boogie”), and a lewd mention of Pee Wee Herman masturbating (“Ill Na Na”) epitomize the sleaze.

Summary Advisory

What makes this audio porn even more revolting is that it was recorded by a 17-year-old girl. Teens’ requests for the trashy tunes of Foxy Brown deserve the reply, “Ill? No, no!”
