Album Review

Pro-Social Content

Songs celebrate love in various forms: its fundamental role in life (“Where Is Love”), its ability to inspire eternal romantic devotion (“To Love You More,” “Immortality,” “Miles to Go Before I Sleep” and the theme from Titanic, “My Heart Will Go On”), the love that binds humanity (“Let’s Talk About Love”), a near-spiritual faith in a partner (“Just a Little Bit of Love”) and the affection of a good man (“The Reason”). “Treat Her Like a Lady” scolds men who selfishly use women. The artist grapples with whether or not to express her fondness for a man (“Tell Him”), and remains optimistic in the wake of a breakup (“Love Is on the Way”).

Objectionable Content

One mild profanity appears in “Why Oh Why”‘s printed lyrics, but it’s not in the song.

Summary Advisory

These 15 new songs showcase the same powerful vocals and positive messages Celine’s fans have come to expect. The only surprises are good ones-guest appearances by Luciano Pavarotti, Carole King, Barbra Streisand and the Bee Gees. Solid!
