Pro-Social Content

Neville clearly conveys a concern for others, devotion to God and commitment to family. He expresses appreciation to his stage hands on “The Roadie Song,” honors the woman in his life with “I Owe You One” and expresses love to his brother on “My Brother, My Brother.” A remake of The Stylistics’ 1972 hit “Betcha by Golly, Wow” focuses on enduring love. The disc concludes with a beautiful rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Summary Advisory

A winning combination of musical genres, including Motown, country and fifties rock ‘n roll, make The Grand Tour worth taking. But it’s Neville’s honest, soulful lyrics that really set this album apart.
