The only thing worse than the materialism on “Glamorous” is its frequent profanity. The album version of the sanitized radio hit “London Bridge” uses the f-word, repeats “oh s—” dozens of times, condones drunkenness and includes sexual innuendo. “Fergalicious” is a narcissistic tease that uses food metaphors to describe how tasty the singer is. Elsewhere, lyrics invite a man to share her bed (“Velvet”) and refer to “people talking out their a–” (“Pedestal”). A couple seems to be eking one last round of sex out of a crumbling romance on “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” CD pictures range from bare midriffs to flirtatious soft-porn.
