Album Review

Pro-Social Content

“Shout Out” thanks the band’s friends and supporters in the media.

Objectionable Content

Violence, drugs, sexual perversion, misogyny, lewd urban slang and graphic scatalogical references abound. Gun-toting aggression is glorified on “Klickow Klickow.” On “It’s Workin’,” the rapper contemplates selling drugs in his neighborhood. “Slang Bang” makes a crass reference to oral sex. “Hand Out and Hustle” glorifies pimping and gangsta life.

Summary Advisory

These guys have sold millions of albums (this one went to number 1 on the R&B chart) and won several awards including a Grammy. Stickered for explicit content, this sleazy project is a fool’s Paradise.
