That angry rap nurses a grudge against Dad and downplays rap’s influence on kids. Theft, tax evasion and prostitution are legit ways to earn money and stick it to the man on “Diamond in the Back.” Two venomous, profane rants attack Fox TV’s Bill O’Reilly. The crass “T Baggin’ Skit” recommends violence against “any white guys you hung out with.” Other cuts brag about firepower, threatening enemies with lines such as, “Bleedin’ so hard you’ll need a life-size maxi pad … Tomorrow’s not on your calendar” (“We Got”). The language—including f-words and anatomical slang—is raw and descriptive throughout. Extremely graphic sexual lyrics focus on strippers (“P-Poppin”), casual sex involving porn and handcuffs (“Splash Waterfalls”), and a ménage á trois (“Teamwork”). The hit “Stand Up” lusts over women’s breasts and wants to get “a thick young lady … outta them pants.” That track and others glamorize drugs and alcohol. A chant of “F— you!” dominates the pro-marijuana anthem “Screwed Up” (which instructs teens how to beat a sobriety test). “Blow It Out” makes a flip reference to Jesus. A boy calls himself “the King of kings” on “Southern Fried Intro.”
At one point Ludacris boasts, “I got fans in retirement homes to teenagers to little bitty boys and girls.” Whatever his raunchy reach, it’s too far. Encourage your teen to swear off Chicken*N*Beer forever.
