Pro-Social Content

“Stop Hatin'” calls for an end to bitterness and hostility, however . . .

Objectionable Content

The artist admits he’s “full of hatred” on the violent “Only Time Will Tell” (“grab my [gun] and kill off my enemies”). In addition, the lyrics find him committed to drinking Hennessey and smoking marijuana. Nearly a dozen of the album’s 19 tracks glorify drugs and alcohol in the form of blunts, weed, crack, dope and cocaine. Coarse language-f-word included-is heard throughout. On “Going Through Some Thangs,” a street thug shoots a woman (yes, there are gunshots) after robbing a safe (“I never trust a b—h ’cause nowadays these b—hes carry an extra clip”). On “Let’s Get ‘Em,” the rapper threatens to urinate on an enemy’s porch and defecate in his house. Truly awful stuff.

Summary Advisory

From his vicious disrespect for human life, to his boneheaded blueprint for getting out of the ghetto (selling drugs), Master P’s Ghetto D is worse than empty. It’s dangerous. Keep teens out of this Ghetto.
