The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish
The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is mostly cute, animated fun but might keep some families at bay until their kiddos are old enough to discern fantasy from reality.
The unofficial creed of the FBI’s international division is to protect American citizens from outside threats. And that’s rarely done by sitting in an office.
Just ask the “Fly Team.” This relentless group travels around the globe to ensure that threats are neutralized before they reach U.S. soil.
Dick Wolf’s FBI: International, seeks to give viewers the sort of suspense and action offered by its forerunner, FBI. But it wants to inject the proceedings with a little global flare.
This TV-14 series found on CBS features a unique team who constantly travel the globe as threats arise against valuable American citizens. There’s gruff, fearless leader Scott Forester, his second in command (and occasional girlfriend) Jamie Kellett, expert hacker and tech whiz Andre Raines, quick and intelligent Cameron Vo and newest navigational expert Megan ‘Smitty’ Garretson. Each of these agents bring something to the table, highlighting their skills as they operate around the world.
So, what makes this different from the original series? Not much. CBS crime procedurals rarely deviate from the network’s tried-and-true formulas. The big differences here are, of course, the cast, and the fact that everything takes place abroad, primarily in Europe. Currently, the show is in its second season and stays mildly clean, given that it’s not nestled on a streaming service (and must deal with broadcast network standards). Sexually risqué moments are few and far between and language is “light” compared to most shows out there. But the violence here can be somewhat graphic at times.
The FBI’s international division heads to Paris to find out why an American police officer was stabbed and killed in broad daylight.
Multiple agents double-cross their government, selling arms, lying and hacking computers. Dead bodies lie on the ground after a chemical explosion. A few cars catch fire and explode. FBI agents engage in hand-to-hand combat and shootouts. An attacker stabs a man in the neck and blood gushes from the wound. A man plots to kill his brother’s murderer but doesn’t succeed.
Street peddlers try to steal from innocent tourists. A woman tells FBI agents that her previous employer sexually objectified her and threatened her life.
The word “h—” is used five times. An agent asks his teammates if they’d like to get a few beers.
Kristin Smith joined the Plugged In team in 2017. Formerly a Spanish and English teacher, Kristin loves reading literature and eating authentic Mexican tacos. She and her husband, Eddy, love raising their children Judah and Selah. Kristin also has a deep affection for coffee, music, her dog (Cali) and cat (Aslan).

Chaos Theory isn’t nearly as violent as the live-action movies—but it has some issues that still might bite families.
Paramount+’s faith-themed horror procedural trades its respectful roots for absurd and irreverent sensationalism.
If Yellowstone and Stranger Things had a baby, it might look a little like Outer Range.
