Far away, on the magical, whimsical island of Tumble Leaf, lives a group of special friends who are always ready for adventure.
Fig the blue fox is always game, joined by his yellow-and-orange best friend, Stick the caterpillar. Each day, the pair leave their abandoned ship, where they live, to see what they can learn.
But they’re not alone. Fig and Stick are joined by a myriad of companions, like Maple, the pink polar bear and Hedge, the brown hedgehog, along with other animal friends: Pine, Ginkgo, Rutabaga, Zucchini, Butternut and Squash.
Obviously, Tumble Leaf is a pretty remarkable place. And its residents live their best, most extraordinary lives as they play and learn in the sand, on the water and under the sun.
Dating back to 2014, Tumble Leaf is a stop-motion animated series that ran for four seasons until its end in 2019. And even now, it’s still one of Amazon Prime’s most popular offerings for littles. Each episode consists of two, 11-minute segments. And, unlike many kids shows, there’s not really any content here that could worry parents. Pretty surprising, huh? This preschool-aimed show is packed with an extensive vocabulary, bright colors and fun music. Led by the show’s main character, Fig the fox, kids will learn about critical thinking, problem solving and creativity as they master basic scientific concepts, one discovery at a time.
