The band blames Christianity for destroying the polytheistic purity of some cultures on “Silent Warrior” (“White men won in the name of God with the cross as an alibi”). Lyrical confusion also equates love and hate on “I Love You . . . I’ll Kill You.”
Teens looking for spiritual meaning in life could be led astray by the evangelistic efforts of Enigma. It’s best if they don’t take up The Cross of Changes.
