Crude or Profane Language
Drug and Alcohol Content
Other Negative Elements
The sole lyric on the opening track is positive: "Hold on, be strong." An isolated line from "Return of the G" finds a rapper enjoying watching his little girl play.
The use and/or sale of illegal drugs appears on at least six cuts. Spoken dialogue lets fans eavesdrop on a drug deal in progress ("Synthesizer") and a guy asking a girl for sex ("West Savannah"). In fact, crude talk of casual sex with whores, oral gratification, multiple partners and cybersex appears throughout. As for theology, the title track asserts, "Sin all depends on what you [are] believing in." Raps often feature gun-toting braggadocio and violent threats such as, "We got gats [guns]" and "I'm strapped and ready to bust on any n----r!" Also, lots of profanity and lewd anatomical slang.
Naughty or nice? This one's a no-brainer. If you find OutKast on your list of last-minute stocking stuffers, cross it off.
