Legal Drug Money
Crude or Profane Language
Drug and Alcohol Content
Other Negative Elements
"The Yearn" brags about a drug- and alcohol-enhanced sexual conquest with a new acquaintance. So does the popular radio single "Renee," which includes the line, "I started feelin' on her breasts." Amid frequent use of the racially charged n-word, "Straight from da Ghetto" justifies cold-blooded murder. Other cuts also glorify gangsta violence ("All Right," "Keep It Real," "Jeeps, Lex Coups, Bimaz & Benz," "1 2 3," "Legal Drug Money"). "Da Game" boasts of killing police ("We're blasting coppers in the face"). Marijuana is the group's drug of choice on at least eight tracks. They blame government and the white man for their homicidal depravity ("Straight From da Ghetto," "Channel Zero"). Obscenities fly like unwanted tater tots in a grade school cafeteria.
Crude, lewd and rude. These libidinous, hateful, substance abusing Boyz are Lost in more ways than one. Even laundering can't clean up Legal Drug Money.
