"Blind" considers the value of repentance, avoiding evil and seeking wisdom. The band measures its own puny trials against the challenges facing others on "No Problems" ("I saw a man with no legs . . . I've got no reason to complain"). "Do What I Do" attempts to keep criticism in proper perspective while pressing on toward a goal.
Although cryptic at times, the Cowboys communicate positive philosophies to fans of a musical genre overcome with nihilism. A positive secular alternative to Metallica and other bands with a heavy sound.
