Conclusion

Pro-social Content

A line on "Last Night" pleads, "God, please make me better/I wish I wasn't the way I am." Diddy says he won't forsake his woman despite challenges ("After Love," "Through the Pain").

Objectionable Content

When he's not spewing vicious lines such as "I hate your f---ing guts" and "I'm ready to ... shoot that muthaf---er up," the artist articulates an inflated sense of his own importance. "Testimonial" pays homage to his career and cultural influence, and finds Diddy calling himself "the almighty, a god to the black child." Equally egocentric are cuts that say he should be President ("The Future"), chronicle his rise to power ("Everything I Love"), proclaim his immortality ("We Gon' Make It") and exalt him "king of the streets" ("I Am"). "Come to Me" and "Tell Me" describe his mystical control over the ladies (the latter factors in penis size and sexual positions). A graphic play-by-play puts listeners in the bedroom during "Special Feeling." Marijuana heightens a couple's erotic activity on "Diddy Rock." Soft-porn liner photos include rear female nudity and risqué behavior.

Summary Advisory

This sexual, obscene, narcissistic trash features guest vocals by everyone from Brandy, Nas and Christina Aguilera to Mary J. Blige, Ciara and Jamie Foxx. More than worthy of its warning label. Press eject.
