Conclusion

Pro-social Content

After a romance fails to satisfy, the singer turns to God for true intimacy (“Through With Love”). Similarly, shiftless guys get the boot on “Free,” “If” and “Bad Habit.” “Girl” puts an arm around female fans shattered by unfaithfulness (“Don’t let him walk all over your heart ... We’re your girls/Want you to know that we love you”). “Love” and “Cater 2 U” are sweet love songs.

Objectionable Content

Unfortunately, both of those cuts and “Free” allude to physical intimacy without marital context. The ladies demand a certain level of sexual performance from their men on the randy “Lose My Breath” and “Soldier,” which states a preference for arrogant street thugs played by guests T.I. and Lil Wayne. A lusty fantasy is central to “T-Shirt” (“I wish you were here to take off your T-shirt/After we make love I sleep in your T-shirt”). A mild profanity appears on “Is She the Reason.”

Summary Advisory

The disc’s producer marveled at this trio’s faith in God, saying, “Before every session they prayed. That’s deep.” While faith seems to have influenced several tunes, it’s safe to say the Lord didn’t engineer other decisions on this inconsistent CD sure to leave families un-Fulfilled.
